Trip to the Europa Centre

On Wednesday 9 June 2010 a group of us went to the Europa centre to experiment with radio programmes. We all came together and planned a weather forecast in French and then recorded it in the radio studio.
The trip improved my French vocabulary, and I now know a wider range which will also help me at school. I enjoyed working with a different group of people who I wouldn’t usually mix with; also working with them helped me to become more confident when speaking in front of others. As well as helping my French, I think working in the radio studio helped on my knowledge of IT and technology.
This trip was definitely one of the most helpful and useful that I have ever been on because it brought me together with different people whilst helping us all with our French. I think this trip would definitely benefit other pupils at school.

Ting: Bonjour! Bienvenue à la météo avec Gaynes School.

Toby: Nous sommes mercredi neuf juin et il est onze heures. Généralement, aujourd'hui, nous attendons que ça fera très beau.

Hannah: Cependant, aussi il y aura des pluies diluviennes alors n'oubliez pas votre parapluie.
Aussi au nord et à l'ouest, il y aura un soleil très fort.

Zaynah: Demain les températures attendront son niveau le plus élévé de vingt-six dégrés celsius alors n'oubliez pas vos lunettes de soleil. Quant à aujourd'hui, à partir de sept heures ce soir le temps va se dégrader donc vous couvrir chaudement.

Hannah: Merci beaucoup et c'est tout pour aujourd'hui.
