Islam Visit
Visit from Claire Ali
Year Seven Citizenship students and the RE GCSE Full Course Group were lucky to meet with Claire from the Islamic Educational Workshop who briefed the students on life for Muslims in modern day Britain. Students were informed of the main religious functions that Muslims performs as well as challenging modern day perceptions. Charlie Khan and Paige Bates (Yr 7) even got to try and see what clothing was typical for Muslim people. The session was very productive and we hope to welcome Claire back to the school sometime in the very near future.
