Congratulations to Gabriel Olawole and Antonio Thompson
who represented Gaynes at the Havering Big Dance Event.



Athletics


The following pupils have been selected to represent Havering at the Essex Schools Athletics Championships

  • Rachel Forder (Year 8) Shot Putt
  • Marks-Swain (Year 10) 400m
  • Massi Dendani (Year 11) 800m


Rachel Forder has also set new Year 8 School Athletics Records for Shot Putt (9.65m) and the Discus (30.50m)

Football

Congratulations to the Year 7, 8 and 9 Boys football teams who reached the finals of the Havering Football Cup competitions

Year 7

The journey from the start of the season to the Havering Cup Final has been a long one for the Year 7 team. There have been a large number of players involved this season, and only a selection are here today. As with any Year 7 team, there have been many changes, both in players and positions, in an attempt to knit together the strongest combination of players into a cohesive team. We progressed through the group stages losing only 1 game, and playing some good football, whilst developing a strong team spirit. The quality of football went from strength to strength as the matches went on, and we beat Sanders Draper in the Semi final

The Year 7 are now Havering Champions beating Chafford 2 0 with Joe Linley scoring both the goals
